Our Story

Kyma Living was born from a personal experience on the island we love.

Since 1992, Crete has been part of our lives. For many years, my wife and I have been visiting regularly, and a few years ago we took the step that so many dream of: we bought a holiday home on this beautiful island.

During that process, we noticed something that struck us. The same property was listed with multiple agencies simultaneously. And when we spoke to the sellers of our apartment, they told us something that stayed with us: the commissions they paid to agents were substantial, and honestly, they would have preferred to sell directly. No middlemen, no commission, just a straightforward deal between two people.

That conversation was the spark that started Kyma Living.

We built the platform we wished had existed when we were buying. A clean and honest way for private sellers on Crete to reach serious buyers across Europe, without giving away a large slice of their proceeds to intermediaries.
